"This book does what few
books have done. Dr. Ekstrand has given a wonderful,
comprehensive introduction of Christian orthodoxy for an
inquiring mind. 'Christianity: The Pursuit of Divine Truth'
positions a biblical presentation of Christianity within the
larger context of religious pursuits. This book fills the gap
for the college and university student who desires to
objectively investigate the Christian faith and its most basic
and unique claims to truth. Any serious seeker should read this
work."
MARK L.

Disciple and Nelson’s New Testament Survey.
"An engaging author has
crafted a long-studied, comprehensive, compelling, irenic
introduction to Christianity from an orthodox, biblical
perspective. The work will assist students who know little about
the subject to think objectively about its reasonable place in
respect to religions, as well as its roots, history, credibility
in regard to claims of science, confirming data from
archaeology, main tenets, etc. Non-preachy in nature, the
publication lays out evidence that can help users assess
Christianity fairly in comparison with other religious
worldviews. Added features include frequent figures, tables,
maps, and special orientating notes, copious chapter by chapter
endnotes, bibliography, topical index, and a detailed glossary
defining key terms. This writer wishes that he had had such an
objective and readable text when he took religious courses in
university study."
